Our lovely executive board we call CMT (Chapter Management Team) is elected each fall for one calendar year term. Every position handles very different aspects of Delta Gamma here at Cal Poly. There are JCMT (Junior Chapter Management Team) positions that support our CMT with special objectives pertaining to each position. All of these positions have the incredible opportunity to bring their ideas for our chapter to life!
Emily is our chapter President, overseeing everything that goes on in the chapter while making sure things are running smoothly. Emily is a Mathematics major concentrating in Applied Mathematics, with involvement in the the Math Club on campus. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. Emily’s favorite thing about DG is having the opportunity to get to know so many inspiring women, and knowing that someone will be there to support her if she is ever in need.
VP SOCIAL STANDARDS
Molly is our VP Social Standards, overseeing risk management as well as our social events and formals. She is a Business Administration major concentrating in Accounting with a minor in Chinese, while also apart of the Cal Poly Accounting Club as well as Ballet Theatre SLO. In her free time, she enjoys taking ballet classes, reading a good book, and baking. Molly’s favorite thing about DG is being a part of a community where she feels she truly belongs and is accepted (and the amazing snacks at the DG house!)
Katherine is our VP Finance, overseeing the chapter budget as well as individual financial transactions. She is a Business Administration major concentrating in Accounting, as well as apart of the Panhellenic DEI Committee, Net Impact Consulting, and the Cal Poly Accounting Club on campus. In her free time, Katherine loves to catch the sunset at the beach and go out with friends. Her favorite thing about DG is the people that she has met, and the LOKO fam!
Allison is our VP Communications, overseeing all social media and PR efforts while also maintaining records for the chapter. She is a Business Administration major concentrating in Marketing, as well as a member of the University Honors Program and a Marketing Student Assistant at Cal Poly ASI. She also serves on the Center for Service in Action’s leadership team. In her free time, Allison loves to bake, explore SLO, and spend time with family and friends. Her favorite thing about DG is all the lifelong friendships and connections she’s made!
Colleen is our VP Programing, managing the chapter calendar and any programs related to sisterhood, dialogues, seniors, and alumnae. She is a Nutrition major and Safer volunteer on campus. In her free time, she loves going to the beach and getting coffee with friends. Colleen’s favorite thing about DG is recruitment preparation week, as she met some of her best friends during this time and grew existing friendships so much more.
VP MEMBER EDUCATION
Makenna is our VP Member Education, focused on fostering an environment where members feel engaged, excited, and confident in their decision of choosing Theta Alpha! She is a Liberal Studies major that enjoys surfing, thrifting, and spending time with friends and family in her free time. Makenna’s favorite thing about DG is all the great leadership opportunities it has given her, allowing her to build confidence both professionally and personally.
Makara is our VP Membership, running all of our formal and informal recruitment events in order to gain new members for our chapter. She is a Political Science major as well as a contributing Editor at Paideia Journal and an undergraduate researcher. In her free time, she likes to go on hikes and walks as well as spend time with friends. Makara’s favorite thing about DG is always having a group of supportive and empowering people to look up to and lean on.
Sela is our VP Panhellenic, acting as Cal Poly’s Panhellenic delegate in order to communicate chapter goals with the rest of the Panhellenic community. She is an Applied Mathematics major and loves baking, working out, doing ceramics, and going to the beach in her free time. Sela’s favorite thing about DG is how she has always felt at home with the women, feeling accepted by those that want to better the world around them.
Ellie is our VP Foundation, taking charge of many of the chapter’s philanthropic efforts through fundraising, education, and community involvement. She is a Nutrition Science major with a minor in Dance, as well as apart of the Medical Design Club on campus. In her free time, she loves hiking, going to the beach, and cooking dinner with her big. Ellie’s favorite thing about DG is meeting the kind of women she can turn to for anything, knowing they will be in her life forever.
